IT and the Mobile User Experience

Customers, partners, and employees want anytime anywhere access, and IT must rise to the occasion

Smart phones and tablets may be great tools for users, but they’ve been a nightmare for IT. Business users -- customers, partners, and employees – now demand their smart devices get anytime anywhere access to business critical systems. And if IT can’t support them, they’ll go elsewhere -- creating a dangerous ‘shadow IT’ that exists outside traditional IT’s control, which creates a huge security risk. That’s why it’s important for IT to understand the proper mobile experience their users demand.

Join an upcoming TweetChat hosted by @TrendsinTech this Tuesday, January 28th at 1pm Eastern to address what IT leaders can do to properly prepare themselves for a better mobile experience -- just follow along with the hashtag #TechViews. We’ll be covering topics like the biggest frustrations for mobile users, what the correct experience should be, and how IT can best exploit mobile technologies.

By putting end users first and giving them the proper mobility tools they need to address problems on their own, IT is empowering their organization and also solidifying their position as a leader in technical expertise.
